Our team of five joined with about 20 other community volunteers at the Cincinnati Freestore Foodbank, packing food boxes for seniors in need. By the end of the shift, we had packed 788 boxes.

It sounds like a lot, but we didn’t feel tired. We were just thrilled and grateful to have helped.

This service day was our second spent at the Freestore Foodbank, one of Ohio’s largest food banks. They give away more than 24 million meals each year, partnering with soup kitchens, shelters, senior centers, and other agencies helping those in need throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
