The team recently got the opportunity to join together and assemble Bake Me Home’s cookie mix tote bags for families in crisis.

Bake Me Home is a charitable organization founded by twin sisters Emma and Amy. Originally launched to help moms and children at a Cincinnati homeless shelter, Bake Me Home has since expanded its outreach to families using local food pantries, kids in foster care, and members of the military across the country and overseas.

Its mission: making the world a better place, one cookie at a time.

The Berno Financial Management team was thrilled to head over to Bake Me Home’s Cincinnati headquarters and put together the tote bags, which contain everything families need to make homemade cookies.

“The tote bags are really an ingenious and heartwarming way to bring families in crisis together,” said Bruce Berno, the financial advisory firm’s founder and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Berno estimated that they put together over 100 totes, adding: “We left feeling absolutely grateful for the opportunity to help other people in such a simple yet nourishing way,” he added.
